:: Caroline Maghen : director of children and youth ::

Caroline is the Director of Children and Youth at Salem Pres. She grew up in Signal Mountain, TN and attended Furman University where she studied Psychology and French. She then moved to Winston-Salem to be a part of The WS Fellows Program – a 10-month leadership and discipleship program exploring God’s design for us as workers and contributors to human flourishing. She started at Salem as a Congregational Life Resident where she grew in her love of helping youth realize their potential as beloved children of God and learning beside them as they grow with the body of Christ. Once her two years were up as a Resident she remained on staff in the role in which she currently serves. Caroline is passionate about helping children 0-18 come to see the church as their homes, connecting the children to people of all ages in the church, and supporting parents in their discipling of their children. She’s an avid lover of coffee/tea, walks, and adventures with new and old friends! Please contact her to see how you can contribute to helping our children know their value in our church family.
